The Kamnik-Savinja Alps, with its craggy summits rising above 2,000 metres, offer numerous possibilities to both climber and mountaineer alike. Starting points for these ascents are to be found in the
Logarska Dolina, Matkov Kot and
Robanov Kot valleys; the larger faces of
Ojstrica, Planjava, Raduha and Mrzla gora offer some excellent challenges, as do the rocky ridges of Raduha and Olševa. There are some minor climbing spots in Raduha and in Solčava cliffs (Klemenča, Golerjeva, Strevčeva), which fall from
Podolševa to Savinja riverbed. The climbs are of different difficulty levels and are described in the climbing guides.
