The parish church of st. MARAY OF THE SNOWS
Cerkev Marije snežne v Solčavi

Built between 1461 and 1485, this is the only entirely preserved Gothic church in the Upper Savinja Valley; however, the sacristy together with the south wall of the nave are probably of Romanesque origin. An extension was built above the old sacristy for use as the church treasury and in 1700 the bell tower was raised. Of particular value is this church's medieval (Pieta), whilst its high altar, executed in the Neo-Gothic style, is by Andrej Cesar.

The church has been declared the natural heritage.
