Wooden granaries

Wooden granaries, known as kašte, are part of the wealth of heritage not only in the Logar valley itself but also the Solcava region and the Upper Savinja valley.

ANCIENT STORES

They represented an important part of agricultural smallholdings, as they stored food, especially grains. Some are still used today for their original purpose. You can admire the granary at the entrance to the Logar valley, the granary on the Logar farm, or the granary in which the Logar Valley Tourist Information Centre is situated (the original granary was relocated and the interior was redesigned back to its original form).
