From September 16 to 22, Solčava will once again take part in European Mobility Week, which this year carries the slogan "Mobility for All." Together, we will highlight the importance of ensuring that our streets, sidewalks, transport, and public spaces are accessible and friendly for everyone – including children, the elderly, people with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups. We warmly invite you to join us in a variety of activities that will emphasize the idea that everyone deserves a safe, healthy, and pleasant journey to school, work, the store, or the park. You are kindly invited to walk with us, hop on a bike, experience what it’s like to overcome obstacles, and listen to the stories of our fellow community members.You can find more details about the program in the attached file. Sustainable Mobility in Solčava The Municipality of Solčava actively promotes sustainable mobility because we believe small changes can lead to big results – for nature, for quality of life, and for our community.With various transport options such as public buses »Nomago«, (e-)bike rentals, the free Prostofer service for seniors, and connecting “Hop on-Hop off” and “Bicikelbus” routes, we can reduce private car use and help preserve our alpine valley. Dear visitors, we are pleased to inform you that the road to the Rinka Waterfall is open and open again. After the recent storms that triggered an avalanche, access to one of the most popular natural attractions in the Logarska dolina Landscape Park is now possible. Caution is urgently needed on the road, as the removal of materials from the park is still ongoing and there are therefore a few lorries on the road. The footpath to the Rinka waterfall is also passable and will take you through the beautiful landscape of our valley. If you want a longer hiking adventure, you can continue all the way to Okrešelj and on to Kamniško Savinjski sedlo. This beautiful mountain trail offers unforgettable views and the chance to get in touch with unspoilt nature. We invite you to visit our park, relax at the sight of the mighty Rinka waterfall and explore the natural beauty our valley has to offer. NOTICE: LOGARSKI KOT - WATERFALL RINKA ROAD CLOSED AND THE ROAD TO WATERFALL RINKA BLOCKED Please be informed that due to heavy storms the road Logarski kot - Rinka Waterfall is currently closed. Yesterday's storm caused significant damage to the road surface, making the road impassable and extremely dangerous. In addition, yesterday's storm triggered a large avalanche which blocked the road to the Rinka waterfall and the Frishauf home in Okrešelj. We would like to warn all those who have visited our area with the intention of going to the mountains that there is currently no trail and the area is very dangerous to visit. Due to the damaged road surface and the buried path, extreme caution is needed. We ask all drivers and visitors to observe the closures and not to attempt to drive or walk on the routes mentioned. Your safety is our priority and we ask for your understanding and cooperation. Thank you for your understanding and concern

The Municipality of Solčava and the crisis group for tourism of the Center Rinka, which manages tourism in the destination Logarska dolina - Solčavsko, inform that all visitors to Solčavsko are safe, healthy, accommodated by tourist providers and are provided with basic amenities. We would like to inform all visitors who have planned their vacation in Solčavsko in the coming days, that due to the current conditions, we do not recommend visiting Solčavsko. Our primary goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of Logarska dolina - Solčavsko visitors. With the current weather conditions, however, this is not possible. Therefore, please follow the Solčava Municipality website www.solcava.si and the Rinka Center's Facebook profile, where we will inform you about the situation in Solčava.
