VISIT THE LOGAR VALLEY LANDSCAPE PARK

The Logar valley is one of the most beautiful alpine glacial valleys in Europe and flows into the Kamnik-Savinja Alps from the north. As part of Solčava, tradition and nature coexist here and it is an exemplary example of sustainable development. Tourism, which provides added value to agriculture and forestry, offers holidaymakers a break in the tranquil environment of the landscape park and numerous activities.

Based on the accession work and assessment conducted within the Green Scheme of Slovenian Tourism, the Logar Valley Landscape Park has been awarded the Slovenia Green Park label.

A green (environmentally and socially responsible) destination is not just a project, task or responsibility of a tourist organisation alone. It is something that can only be achieved by all of us together – all stakeholders in the destination, in the public, non-governmental and private sectors – not only in tourism, but in all areas.
Last but not least, everyone who lives in the park is a crucial part of this process. It is extremely important that the Landscape Park is, first and foremost, a pleasant and friendly place for all who work and live in it, as well as for all those who visit.
